A cowboy and a poet walk into a bar …
It includes my poem “Riding a horse in circles around the marriage, the actress tethers herself to her husband” (a.k.a. the crumpled cowboy poem) on page 27. It is a piece I wrote during NaPoWriMo this past April while writing with Jill at Starbucks.
Make sure you go read the magazine. It’s a virtual experience that closely mimics flipping through the pages of a book, a beautiful, shiny, full-color book. Once you’ve recovered from drooling over the set-up, you can read some wonderful work, including poems by featured poets Denise Duhamel and John Siddique and fellow bloggers: Dustin Brookshire, Joyce Ellen Davis and Michelle McGrane.
You may even want to order your very own print copy. It’s just as glossy and slick as the online version. And if you fall in love with it and sleep with it under your pillow, I won’t even judge you.
