frustrated

I’m frustrated with my writing practice. I am stomping and sputtering around instead of getting things done. I have resisted putting this forth as my current effort because I have been hoping for something more to come. Beggars can’t be choosers, though, huh?

Don’t get me wrong: I like this little nugget. There are just other projects I’d prefer to be making progress on. Though as I am typing up this post, I am thinking that maybe I can make this a cumulative piece (like Deb did with her micro-poetry in April).

As such, the title I’ve attached to it is a place-holder/working title. I thought about making it just “Summer 2010″ and making it a collection of observations from the summer wherever I am, but instead, for lots of reasons, I think a more specific noticing of the country road I live on and my homestead is more helpful. (Oh! And these will be public posts. Because I said so.)

I love this idea, and the fruit of it, too. I look forward to reading … it’s like a gong, but with a treble voice. Lovely, lovely. (And remember to not censor or criticize yourself. xxoo)

    Ommm.
